Jim Su is a professional illustrator and CGI artist.
After graduating Sheridan College for Computer Animation, he was hired by Mainframe Entertainment in 1999 as a CGI modeler.
He worked on Transformers Beast Machines, Casper Haunted Christmas, Action Man, ReBoot, Spider-Man: The Animated Series, 2003 MTV Movie Awards.
He also began freelance illustration, worked on Battlestar Galactica colour designs for Enigma Studios.
In 2003, Jim moved back to Toronto to work for C.O.R.E. Feature Animation on the Disney movie, The Wild. He also worked on Silent Hill and Firehouse Dog at C.O.R.E. Jim began working freelance for Mattel on the Matchbox toy line drawing package and product illustrations. He also broadened his toy client base, working for Spin Master and Hasbro.
Jim currently works for Mr. X Inc. as a rigger and VFX artist on films such as Resident Evil: Extinction and Death Race.
